Dave Buzza, CFE, DMA – Chief Development Officer – 20 Years Industry Experience

Dave Buzza has been associated with the AlphaGraphics Franchise System since the beginning of 2008. Prior to this, Dave was VP of Business Development with the ICED Franchise System (Kwik Kopy Printing, Ink Well Printing, and Franklin’s Printing) for more than 13 years. During this time, Dave spent 10 of his years as a franchise owner with a Kwik Kopy Printing location in Nashville, Tenn.

As a printing franchise owner, Dave was successful in growing his company from a start up operation to eventually ranking within the top 20 centers worldwide within the ICED Franchise system. Since selling his operating company in 2004, Dave has been a coach and consultant to small and commercial print owners throughout the graphic arts industry. Dave has been heavily involved in Sales and Marketing training both domestically and internationally. In addition, he has facilitated workshops on numerous topics ranging from finance, workflow management, administration, personnel, and others that concentrate on the growth and education of print facility owners. Dave is originally from the Cleveland, Ohio, area and holds degrees in Marketing from the University of Akron and Human Resource Management from Spring Arbor College.

Prior to his career in the print industry, Dave was the Vice President of Hush Puppies Footwear based in Rockford, Mich., and also the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Mitre Soccer Co. based in Nashville, Tenn.


Kirk Allen, Regional Director of Franchise Development – 16 Years Industry Experience

Since joining AlphaGraphics in 1998, Regional Franchise Development Director Kirk Allen has consistently taken a leadership role in driving profitability and training initiatives that help AlphaGraphics owners succeed. As national director of financial services, he was responsible for the Acquisition Assistance Program, annual profit leader studies, financial training and new center financing. He recently implemented the Company’s Mastering Profitability classes for franchisees.

In 2005, Kirk was instrumental in the development of the business model for the AlphaGraphics Digital Business Center, which today represents a state-of-the-art franchise opportunity. Earlier, he served as a regional manager on the field services support team, where he oversaw the operations and financial support for centers in 12 states. Over the course of nearly 15 years with AlphaGraphics, Kirk has had the opportunity to personally visit close to 50 percent of the Company’s U.S. locations.

Jeff Spires, Regional Director of Franchise Development – 14 Years Industry Experience

Jeff Spires is AlphaGraphics’ Regional Development Director, with franchise development responsibility for the western region of the United States.

Spires has been with the company for nearly 15 years. He joined AG as a member of the field support team in 1999, where he focused on center-level sales and marketing support.

Having earned a degree in systems engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Manasha, Spires launched his career in the automotive sales industry with Toyota before becoming a digital printing equipment sales specialist and later a regional manager for the digital division of IKON.

Over the course of 14 years, Spires has touched nearly every facet of the AlphaGraphics business, with his primary focus on field support for franchise owners in the AG Network. His work with AGI, the AlphaGraphics Institute, included the development of key franchisee training programs that helped drive significant center-level growth across the system.

Most recently, he was AG’s Vice President of Operations, with responsibility over network support functions including the new-franchise launch team and corporate marketing efforts.

As Regional Development Director, he will work directly with franchise candidates, leading them through the evaluation and purchase process from start to finish.

laurie-miller_smLaurie Miller, Franchise Development Sales & Support Manager – 31 Years Industry Experience

Laurie comes to us with 31 years’ experience in the industry, including ten successful years at ValPak in Florida. Her previous roles afforded her the opportunity to work with all aspects of a franchising organization including Franchise Development and Director of Advertising Sales. She also brings excellent organizational skills and leadership abilities to AG. Laurie has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Management and Certificate in Leading Lean Organizations. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her 3 children and 3 grandchildren.


Candi Mince, Executive Administrative Assistant – 5 Years Industry Experience

Candi Mince grew up in Michigan, attended Baker College, and had a long career with General Motors. After early retirement she relocated to Florida, where she became a veterinarian tech and then subsequently managed the food services
division for a large retirement community in Sarasota.

Candi now lives in Seminole, FL where she assists in the development of new franchisees, transfer, and conversions owners. Candi and her husband have six married children & six grandchildren. They enjoy boating, the beach, traveling, bowling, golf, and playing with the grandkids.
