On January 2, Craig and Michele Hohler handed the keys to AlphaGraphics of West Houston to their granddaughter, Brittany Houd and her husband, Jim Houd.

Craig said in a recent letter to his peers in the Network that they entered the business 14 years ago with no prior printing experience and started from scratch with an SBA loan.

“Yes there were lean times along the way, but I can honestly tell you that all of my goals starting out have been met. We have been able to grow to over $3,000,000 per year with no acquisitions or conversions and get to sell the business and retire on our own terms with plenty of time to enjoy the “next chapter” of our lives,” he said.

And while Craig and Michele expressed their thanks for everyone who helped them along the way, a recent surprise party demonstrated that the feeling was mutual. AlphaGraphics Franchisees from across the state of Texas showed up to help them congratulate, along with a number of staff from headquarters. Congratulations to the family… we’re excited to see the next chapter unfold!
